How We Make Money

MoneyBrief is independent.

We pay the bills through four revenue streams:

Affiliate commissions. When we recommend a category of product — a high-yield savings account, a credit card, a tax software package — we sometimes include a link to a specific provider. If you open an account or apply through that link, we may earn a commission. You pay nothing extra.

Paid subscriptions. MoneyBrief Pro is $15/month and gives paying subscribers access to a second weekly issue, research reports, calculators, tools, and the full archive.

Sponsored placements. Occasionally we accept sponsorships from companies whose products fit our editorial standards. When we do, the placement is clearly labeled as sponsored. Sponsors never see editorial content before it publishes, never approve what we write about them, and never influence what we cover in unrelated issues.

Paid services. We offer courses, events, and educational strategy calls.

Here is what we will never do:

We will never accept payment to recommend a specific product in a "Do This" block.

We will never take an affiliate commission that affects our editorial picks. If two products are similar but one pays us and the other doesn't, we say so and let you choose.

We will never run fake reviews, comparison articles secretly funded by one of the products listed, or "top 10" lists ranked by commission rate.

MoneyBrief's editorial independence is the only asset we have. Protecting it is the job.
